ACTION ALERT:	Pass the Governor's Budget
ACTION ALERT COMMENTARY:	The legislature is back in session, and their main task is to pass the 2013 budget. Governor LePage and the Republicans have submitted a budget recognizing the need to reduce our state government's spending in light of years of waste and the present economic down turn. Frankly, we cannot afford to continue the spending practices that have greatly compromised our ability to truly help those in need here in Maine. We also commend the Appropriations Committee's work on this budget including removing $400,000 to Family Planning and Planned Parenthood. Your Senator and State Representative need to hear you want to see this budget passed, as is, with the cuts to Family Planning and Planned Parenthood.
