The Christian Civic League of Maine published the 2006 Voter Guide Questionnaire in response to requests by pastors in the Oxford Hills area. "They are asking for copies of it," said Pastor Dallas Henry, Southern Area Representative for the League.

The League sent out nearly 400 questionnaires just one week ago. They were sent to all Maine's legislative hopefuls. Just over 40 have come back completed so far.

The League will be giving each candidate a grade based on three criteria. Before the election all the people of Maine will know where the candidates stand with the League. The three criteria that the League is studying to determine each candidate's grade is the questionnaire, incumbent voting record and the level of commitment to League values demonstrated in the State House.
